Angie Hill Yu is a jewelry designer from the north coast of Massachusetts. In 2013 she received her BFA at Montserrat College of Art with a major in painting. In 2014 Angie was introduced to jade and experimented with artisan, metal work. From 2016 to 2018 she worked as an apprentice to jewelry designer and gemologist, Melissa Tyler.
Growing up on Cape Ann, Angie was surrounded by fine art and antiques that have influenced her designs today. From her teens to her mid-twenties, Angie restored vintage textiles and set up window displays. The stunning furniture and architecture from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco era stood out the most to Angie. Her designs are inspired by the late 19th and early 20th century fashion. She strives to create unique jewelry and men's accessories.
